Are YOU ready to leave your mark on one of Lancaster’s most legendary attractions?

We’re inviting all creative and curious 6th to 8th grade students to take part in the Choo Choo Barn Student Design Challenge! This is your chance to dream up your own animated scene and have it featured inside our world-famous model train display—viewed by thousands of visitors every year!

YOUR MISSION:

Design a brand-new animated scene that fits our O-Scale (1:48) model layout.
It could be whimsical, realistic, themed, or completely unique—as long as it moves!

You’ll need to include:
– A hand-drawn design or sketch
– Explanation of how your animation works
– Motors, gears, linkages—how will it move?
– Accurate measurements scaled to O-scale (1:48)
